Next Club Day
Sunday, 20th January 2019 at Blair Cartwright’s property , Cartwrights Road, Timaru – the actual paddock is still to be confirmed but will be signposted from the corner of State Highway 8 (Pleasant Point Highway) and Cartwrights Road.
This is the same property where we have previously hosted NZ Champs and Club race days
Please no dogs and remember to clean up after yourselves and respect this property.
Scrutineering is at 10:00am – 10:30 followed by drivers briefing. Please bring karts to the sign in table and form 2 lines for karts to be scrutineered. Please wait with your kart then sign in.
Can we please have clean karts for scrutineering. Numbers must be on all four sides of the kart and be clearly readable, black on white or white on black. No numbers, no points.

South Canterbury Family Kart Club Champioships
24th February 2019 – venue to be confirmed
The Championships are for financial SC Club members only who must have raced a minimum of two club days to be eligible to enter
Entrys are out with this newsletter and can be returned to Arron Campbell via club email or drop of to me at work or main street butchery or send to 20 Georgetown Road Temuka RD25
We are also looking for a couple of volunteers for lap scoring as I will also be racing if not everyone who enters will have to do lap scoring for a race or two
2019 NZ Grass Kart Champs
AS every one will know by now we are hosting the 2019 Grass kart champs over Easter planning is well under way and we are grateful that we are able to host it at Blair Cartwright’s property again if you are willing to give us a hand please ring Gareth on 0273211375

Scrutineering – there are two options
Friday: Timaru Motors – 207 Hilton Highway, Washdyke, Timaru 3:30pm – 6:00pm
Saturday: Race Venue – Cartwright’s Road Timaru 8:00am – 8:45am
Prize giving: Prize giving will be held Sunday 21st April at the Mccrayway lounge, Racecourse road 7pm, prize giving from 8pm, supper and entertainment to follow.
