Return of trophies
For those who are currently holding trophies from the 2015 Hill Climb event can they please be returned at the next race meeting on the 30th October.
If you know of anyone who has a paddock available for the Club to race on please let one of the Committee know as it’s greatly appreciated to have new venues to race at.
Race weekend on the West Coast
Some years ago a group of keen karters made a weekend trip Greymouth on the West Coast for racing on a sealed track and it has been suggested for those who are interested in a weekend away that we get a group together and head over again. This is not taking the place of our normal monthly meeting but just to have a fun weekend away and enjoy some racing somewhere different. No dates have been decided as yet but if you are interested please let us know with some suggested dates and we can make some plans and a group accommodation booking
Karter of the Day
Our Midget/Intermediate karter of the day for our September race meeting was Cameron Doake who had a very consistent days racing and held on for a well deserved third placing in the points race.
Our Benny’s Again Helper of the day voucher was awarded to Debbie Doake for her help in running the BBQ and also for kindly sharing their gazebo which kept me dry while taking entries.
The BBQ will be running during the lunch break with sausage/bread/onions for $2.00 and also have small bottles of fizzy drink for $1.00
Kid race overalls – 2 sizes available – please contact Richard Brown 021 2300798 for details
